Teignmouth Golf Club is justifiably proud of its heritage. The course was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1924, some 9 years before he completed his most famous work at the Augusta National, home of the US Masters.
Teignmouth’s course is situated near to the South Devon coast and, at 800 feet above sea level, it commands spectacular views of the sea and nearby moors.
The 18 hole moorland links presents a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Features include six varied and challenging par 3s and no fewer than 11 two-tier greens, a true MacKenzie trademark.

New Discounted rates for Members aged 24-40
|In common with many other golf clubs, the average age of TGCs membership has continued to
increase gradually over recent years. In recognition of the fact that less than 10% of TGCs playing
members are in the age bracket 18-35, and to further promote membership to younger players, the
Board has agreed that discounts should be offered to those 24-40 years old in £25 increments from
around £350 - £750. This replaces the previous discount structure for those aged 24-29 and 30-35.
Discounted rates for Intermediates and Students aged 18-23 will continue as before.
Junior membership rates for 8-17 year olds will also continue to range from nil to £100, according to
age and experience.
